Spicy Mandarin Orange Sauce and Dip by Elki
If you are looking for a really great, understated sweet and sour sauce, try this Spicy Mandarin Orange sauce and dip. This authentic Asian sauce is sweet and mildly spicy. As with many great Oriental dishes, it mixes sweet and sour but it is much more complex with an underlying tone of sweet oranges and citrus.
Use this sauce for a dip, a glaze, or a sauce for all kinds of dishes. Try this sweet and sour with chicken, beef, seafood, stir fry dishes, and spring rolls. Serve with your favorite rice dishes.
Each attractive glass jar contains 12 ounces.
Oriental Grilled Prawns
Thaw a bag of frozen, cooked prawns and pat dry. Soak bamboo skewers in water for 30 minutes. Skewer the prawns and baste with sauce. Grill until hot. Serve with more sauce for dipping.
