1955 Sawtooth Denim Shirt
This is one of the many versions Levis® made of the Western denim shirt, and certainly the most classic. A hallmark of Levis heritage, this garment originated from the pioneering workwear style that made us great, and has evolved through the decades. In 1955, Western "Dude Ranches" reached nationwide popularity, and the associated cowboy attire became a public fascination. As this trend progressed through the 1950s, we incorporated the 1955 Sawtooth Denim Shirt into our Western Wear line. Now, we celebrate it as an icon of confident American style. The sawtooth is an emblematic Western pocket design the two-pointed flap resembles a saw blade, and fastens with mother of pearl snaps. The front buttons down with these same snaps, and features the authentic Western yoke pattern at the shoulder and back. This particular version is cut in a slim fit from durable, medium weight denim, and bears the original Levi's® Western Wear Label.
