Order Cancellations
To request cancellation of your order please e-mail a request along with your order number to orders@stacksandstacks.com or call at 1-800-761-5222 x16.
We make every attempt to cancel an order upon each request. However, we cannot cancel an order once it has been shipped. If a package is in transit when your request is made, cancellation of this order will not be possible. Refusal of delivery will not prevent original shipping charges, return shipping fees or any re-stocking fees from applying to any refund allowed.

Shipping Surcharges
Stacks and Stacks charges an additional shipping surcharge on items that are heavy or oversized and require extra handling. Stacks and Stacks is charged a higher rate by the shipping companies. We try very hard to minimize these costs to you and assure you that we do no profit from these additional charges. We encourage you to read the Reality Check below.
Reality Check:
At Stacks and Stacks, we pride ourselves on offering reasonably priced merchandise, as well as competitive shipping fees. You'll notice that most of the products we sell are not small like a book or a cd or as light weight as apparel. In fact, most of the items we offer are either heavy, oversized, or irregular in shape and cannot be packaged in a standard sized box. Regardless of the retail price, two items that weigh the same and have the same or similar dimensions and ship to the same address will incur the same shipping charges. This is why the cost to ship would be the same for both a $900.00 or $150.00 desk! Because of this, the rates of shipping charges to product costs appears, and is, much higher for a less expensive item.

Common Carrier Delivery
Stacks uses common carrier services on items that are too heavy or too bulky to send any other way. Please allow 15 - 20 business days for Common Carrier delivery, not counting weekends. Common carrier deliveries are performed by one of our many trucking companies using a 20 to 40 foot trailer truck. The service includes a courtesy call prior to delivery, to schedule an appointment delivery window that is convenient for you. This service is dockside or sidewalk delivery. The trucking company will unload the merchandise, but will not bring the product inside homes or businesses. Since many of these items are heavy, you may want to consider getting someone to help bring the products into your home or office. Another solution, when possible, is to open the box outside, and bring individual components in one at a time. A signature is required at time of delivery by someone over the age of 18. Occasionally, fully assembled furniture may ship common carrier if the packaging allows. Common carrier deliveries are only performed Monday through Friday.
Please note that there is no priority shipping available on Common Carrier Deliveries. Also, these items may not be shipped to Hawaii, Alaska, APO/FPO, Canada or Internationally.

The minimum shipping charge for any order is $4.95.

Tracking Your Order
Tracking numbers are automatically e-mailed to customers on most orders that ship within the continental U.S.A. through regular UPS Ground Shipping.
