Checking Order Status

After you complete your order, we will send you a confirmation email that clearly shows ordered items and relevant shipping information. Once your order ships from our warehouse, we will send you an additional email that will confirm shipment. Depending on the shipping method you chose, your order will most likely arrive in 2-5 business days. Here are the steps involved in the processing and shipment of your order:

You place your order on our web site.

Your order is picked, packed and shipped. Our goal is to have all online orders shipped within 24 to 48 hours of receipt.

The shipping company (UPS) will give us all of the tracking numbers for the orders that they picked up from us that day, including yours.

Your order is delivered to you within 2-5 business days for domestic orders.

If 10 business days have passed and you still haven't received your order, or if you require additional order and/or shipping status information, please don't hesitate to contact us via email at info@home-improvement-superstore.com or by telephone, Toll Free at 1-866-697-6444. Please have your customer and order details handy so our support staff can promptly assist you.

Returns Policy

Need to return an item? Here's how to make it happen! Damaged Product Returns--All shipments should be inspected at the time of delivery. All claims for damage must be made with the carrier at the time of delivery. As stated in our Satisfaction Guarantee, If your purchase does not meet your expectations, you may return all new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange, whichever you prefer.

If you would like to return or exchange an item, please contact us to fill out a request form, and we will send you an RMA and instructions on how to send the item(s) back. Shipping charges are not refundable.

Before returning a defective item, please first contact Customer Service to obtain an RMA number. Returns attempted without an RMA number will be refused. Once you receive your RMA number, please write it on the outside of the carton so that our warehouse may easily recognize it as a return. Also, within the carton please also include the original order ID along with the RMA number and a detailed explanation of why the merchandise is being returned.

Once received according to our guidelines, your return will be processed as quickly as possible.

Non-Defective Product Returns
Before returning a non-defective item, please contact Customer Service to obtain an RMA number. Returns attempted without an RMA number will be refused. Once you receive your RMA number, place it on the outside of the carton so that our warehouse may easily recognize it as a return.

Please also include the original order ID along with the RMA number and a detailed explanation of why the merchandise is being returned (i.e. unneeded, intended to cancel, incorrect order). Once received according to our guidelines, your return will be processed as quickly as possible:

All non-defective returns must be returned in original, unopened packages.

We are not responsible for return shipping fees or for lost or untraceable shipments.

Please allow up to 7 business days after we receive your return for your exchange or refund to be issued.

Return shipping must be prepaid and sent via a delivery service that will provide you with a tracking number to confirm receipt of the merchandise returned.

How we get it from our door to yours!

We ship all orders from our 15 quality-controlled warehouses located within close proximity of all UPS shipping zones. Most orders are shipped within 24 hours and some may ship within 48 hours depending on the time of day when your order is received. As always, we strive to ship as fast as possible while still ensuring accuracy. Currently, we only ship via UPS to the contiguous 48 States.

Important Shipping Information for Alaska, Hawaii and International Buyers:
Home-Improvement-Superstore.com will ship to Alaska, Hawaii and International Addresses. So, we encourage all buyers to shop with confidence. However, we recommend that all International buyers including buyers from Alaska and Hawaii contact us via email (info@home-improvement-superstore.com) or Call: 1-248-758-9200 before buying from our website. Please note that some products cannot be shipped to certain states and countries.

Information for P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO Addresses:
Home-Improvement-Superstore.com will ship to PO Box and APO/FPO Addresses via the U.S. Postal Service. All packages must meet the following requirements:
- 40 Lbs or less
- are not oversized
- are not hazmat

Please note that we do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays or Public Holidays.

If you have special shipment needs, please give us a call Toll Free at 1-866-469-7417. Our Customer Care Associates are available from Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 12:00 midnight; Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Eastern Time).

We ship via UPS Ground so you can expect your order to arrive within 2-5 business days. Please note that shipments to remote and/or rural locations may require additional time for delivery.

We will notify you of your order confirmation via email and provide any available tracking information so that you can track your order online.

Please do this...When Your Item Is Delivered:

We thank you for your order. And, hope that your item(s) arrives safely and that you are 100% satisfied with your purchase. However, we'd like to remind you to always inspection your package(s), at the time of delivery, to ensure that your item(s) has not been damaged during shipping. Please follow the suggestions below:

For items shipped via UPS: If there is any damage, all claims for damage must be made with the carrier at the time of delivery. For others, you must contact us within 3 days to report the damage. If you do not contact us within 3 days, the product(s) becomes your property.

For items shipped via common carrier: Please inspect the box for any noticeable damage; remove the packaging and inspect the contents for any physical damage in the presence of the delivery driver. If there is any damage, you must indicate such on the delivery receipt, before you sign the delivery ticket. Otherwise, the products(s) becomes your property.

However, in rare occassions when the damage is severe enough to render the product inoperable or unusable, please refuse the shipment and immediately call us toll free at: 1-866-697-6444.

When you need to cancel an order:

If you have submitted an order and would like to cancel, please call or email us within a one hour window with your request. If you are unable to submit a cancellation within that time, your order has already been processed with our vendor and has been shipped out. If this is the case email us a request for a Return Authorization number and for instructions to send the item back to the warehouse. Once we receive the item your purchase price will be refunded minus the shipping cost and a 15 percent restocking fee.
