Here is a summary of our return policy: 1. You may return an item you purchased from BuilderDepot for any reason, no question asked, within 30 days from the date it is shipped. 2. After 30 days, the product is covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
1. You may return an item you purchased from us for any reason, no question asked, within 30 days from the date it is shipped. Opened software, custom and special order products, all electronic and electrical products, cannot be returned. Certain other products may not be returnable so please read the product description for those products before you purchase them.
Please go to http://www.builderdepot.com/customerservice.ihtml to request a return authorization before you can return an item. You cannot return an item to Sears as it must be shipped back to Spectrum Superstore (BuilderDepot, Inc.). Thank you for your business.

Please note the request to cancel an order is not complete until we respond to you as it may be too late to cancel your order. We do not accept order cancellations via phone or emails. BuilderDepot does not accept exchanges. You need to return an item and purchase a new one. 5. If we make a mistake, we will pay for shipping both ways and get the product back at no cost to you. 6. If you decide to cancel your order, please email our customer service immediately. If we do not catch your cancellation before the order has been processed, then your cancellation is now treated like a regular return. 7. Returns incur the following fees: a. If we made an error, there are no fees, and you will be refunded in full b. If you cancelled the order after it has been processed, we will need to collect a fee based on 5% of the order's total. Banks and credit card companies do not refund us the fees taken when the order was placed. c. If you decide to return an item at your discretion, we will need to collect a restocking fee of 15%. Shipping charges are not refundable. We need to inspect returned items and some require extensive testing before we can resell them. e. You will not be refunded if you return an order without authorization. Orders without authorization tend to get lost or cause us problems identifying them. Returning a Product Please go to our "Customer Service" department online and request a Return Merchandise Authorization number (R.M.A.). When shipping the product back, please write this number in a couple of places on the outside of the box you are shipping back. Return the product in its original packing and condition to the address we provide to you. We strongly recommend that you insure the shipment for your own protection. We will credit your account once we process the return (please allow 4 business days once we received the returned item). Shipping and handling charges are not refundable unless you received the wrong product. Taxes are refundable. Returning a Product Under the Manufacturer's Warranty To benefit from the full protection of the manufacturer's warranty, the product must be returned directly to the manufacturer. The manufacturer's warranty information and phone number is included with the product. Returning a Product Damaged in Shipping Occasionally a product will be mishandled and get damaged in shipping. If this has happened to your order, please call the freight company who delivered your order to activate their claims program. We are not responsible for breakage, crushed, lost, or tampered cartons. If UPS was the freight company, call 1-800-PICKUPS. If the freight company was FedEx, please call 1-800-GOFEDEX.
