Pen with built-in LED on clip The Flex-Brite LED Pen not only writes with precision, but it illuminates dark areas using a built-in LED on the clip. The flexible, yet sturdy rubberized clip stays at the desired angle for bright, focused light where needed. It’s great when doing some paperwork on dimly lit airplanes, signing a check in a dark restaurant, even for finding items in a purse or backpack. The LED provides illumination for approximately 10,000 hours. Runs on three included LR41 button-cell batteries (three extra batteries also included). Twist the top of the pen clip approximately 30 degrees and remove clip from the tube. Remove the battery cover. Remove the red circle between the batteries. Replace the cover and insert the clip into tube.
