For over 60 years, All-Star Baseball has let people play the role of Big League Manager using their favorite baseball stars. This 2004 Edition features some of the best of today's players, including Sammy Sosa, Derek Jeter, Mike Piazza, Nomar Garciaparra, and Chipper Jones. You'll hand pick your team (even real Skippers can't do that!) choose the starting line-up, set your batting order, and then play ball! To play, place a Player Disc in to the spinner, give it a spin, and see how the batter fares. Each disc is statistically weighted to reflect the batter's career numbers. You can use the strategy disc for base stealing and other special plays, move your base runners around the field, and keep score on the detachable game base. Game comes with a three-dimensional plastic baseball diamond measuring 7 x 7 x 2, detachable game base for storage and scoring, 35 Player Discs, Strategy Disc, At Bat/Fielding Spinner, 4 base runner pegs, 2 stadium light attachments, and game instructions in English and Spanish.
