Its narrow size and slim width allows it to fit behind the head unit in the dash cavity of most vehicles. The KTP-445 connects in-line with the head units power harness, without the need for additional wiring or special tuning. A high/low gain switch allows the Head Unit Power Pack to work with any Alpine head unit with a black wiring harness right out of the box, yet it also has a built-in selectable HP crossover for system expansion.
