Young has created a humorous and eye catching collection of art for sale; funny undergarments and disturbing graphic art. To translate that into the gallery, he recreated the underwear with stencils, paper and graffiti. Simple shapes create a pleasant and friendly face on the briefs, available in blue, yellow, and green. The last piece depicts a large black rounded head on an off white background. Dark magenta slits are the eyes, and written along the top of the ghoul like head is, Your dreams are my breakfast. The artwork was created in the eighth episode of the second season of Work of Art: The Next Great Artist. The artist was tasked with creating a piece of street art that could work in both a gallery and street vendor setting. Young's art catches the eyes from any passerby. It would be a welcome addition to any fun-loving household. Born in Skokie, Illinois, Young Sun has traveled the world for his art. He studied at Goldsmiths College in London, Kunsthochschule Fur Medien in Germany, and graduated with a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He works in installations, performance pieces, paintings, and photography. While running and curating a gallery in New Zealand, Young was named one of the top 10 artists to watch by the New Zealand Herald's Canvas magazine. He has even had his art produced as a public billboard in Auckland, NZ, as well as at New Zealand Fashion Week. He has sold many of his pieces in the United States, New Zealand, France, and Germany. Young wants to expose his art to a wide audience, and sees his art as a way to express his beliefs; he philosophizes while getting his hands dirty .
