Jamie Lynn Henderson grew up in Oklahoma where she graduated with a BFA in Studio Art from the University of Oklahoma. She then attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she earned an MFA in Painting and Drawing. There, New York Times Critic and Work of Art judge Jerry Saltz made several studio visits to see her work. Jamie Lynn has won Best In Show at two events, first the Skin exhibition in 2007, and then the Around The Coyote in 2009.
