Peregrine grew up in an artist commune in San Francisco. She graduated Kansas City Art Institute with a BFA in 2002, and has gone on to be very successful in the art world. One of Kansas City's most talented artists, Peregrine made a name for herself when the Whitney Museum of American Art bought a series of her prints, Ovubet, making her the youngest living artist to be a part of the museum's collection. She has also sold to the Fogg Art Museum at Harvard University, Yale University, The Chicago Art Institute, and the National Museum of Women in the Arts. Peregrine has been granted the Art Omi International Artists' Residency, the Charlotte Street Fund, and an Inspiration Grant.
