After countless hours spent creating the perfect frame and drive system, Beavertail has taken the surface drive concept to the next level with the 35 HP Vanguard Surface Drive Backwater Motor. This 933cc engine is a Digital spark advance module, complete with an electric startup mechanism and performance camshaft. This motor is also equipped with synchronous belt drive; electric clutch; and polished ground, balanced, electroless plated drive shaft. Its frame and housing is fashioned with aircraft-grade aluminum and its conventional-style power tilt and trim raise the propeller and shaft above trailer planes. The 35 HP Vanguard Surface Drive features a flat-finish, marine powder coat and rich, zinc undercoat primer powder coat. Includes a High Performance, 2-Blade, Stainless Steel Propeller.
