Recommended Daily Feeding for Adult Dogs (Using a standard 8 oz measuring cup.): If your dog currently weighs 3 to 12 lb use 1/2 to 1-1/3 cups for weight maintenance and 1/2 to 1 cup for weight reduction (An average of 20% calorie reduction.). If your dog currently weighs 13 to 20 lb use 1-1/3 to 2 cups for weight maintenance and 1 to 1-2/3 cups for weight reduction (An average of 20% calorie reduction.). If your dog currently weighs 21 to 35 lb use 2 to 3 cups for weight maintenance and 1-2/3 to 2-1/3 cups for weight reduction (An average of 20% calorie reduction.).
