About Besa Lighting Co Inc. Besa Lighting Co Inc. was founded in 1986 when Entrpreneur Richard E. Cash started selling handcrafted lighting products, imported from Hermer Glas in Germany. As years passed, styles and consumer desires began to change, and so did the company. Besa Lighting relocated their headquarters from Los Angeles, California to Columbus, Ohio in 1994 and the company began to take off. They started importing glass from additional suppliers in Poland, Turkey, and Germany. Their hand-blown designs consist of LED pendants, spotlights and sconces, along with 4-pin compact fluorescent and spiral-style self-ballasted compact fluorescent in almost every product type Besa creates.
