Simply loading a pannekoeken with sweetened strawberry slices and topping it with whipped cream-as you would for strawberry shortcake-may be our favorite. If you prefer, you can top fresh strawberries with a glaze from your favorite strawberry pie recipe. In this recipe, we spread a cream cheese filling over the pannekoeken before adding the strawberries. _ _ For the Pannekoeken: Ingredients 1/4 cup butter 3 large eggs 1/8 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup milk3/4 cup all-purpose flour Directions Place the butter in a Dutch Baby pan or an ovenproof skillet with rounded sides.
