With a simple push of the basket button, the stainless-steel basket lowers and lifts allowing water to flow freely around each leaf for optimum infusion. To produce their unique flavors and aromas, different teas such as black, green, white, herbal and oolong require exact water temperatures and controlled brew times. The One-Touch Tea Maker with quick-boil 1,500-watt element is fully programmable to accommodate all tea types and optimal water temperatures and steep times. A timer lets you wake up to delicious, perfectly brewed tea at the strong, medium or mild strength you prefer. The tea basket auto-lifts at the correct time to prevent over-steeping. The German-made Schott glass carafe is durable and stain-resistant and holds up to 51 oz. of water and 41 oz. of brewed tea.
