Joss Whedon's BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, one of the most influential television shows of the 1990s, set a high standard for television, and was a catalyst for a spate of supernaturally themed shows. Starring Sarah Michelle Gellar as the eponymous slayer of evil beings, the show ran for 10 seasons and developed a devoted cult following that was interested as much in Buffy's fashions and romantic relationships as in her battles with vampires. This collection features eight episodes that reveal life on the Hellmouth, the portal on which the high school is situated that leads to the realm of vampires and demons. The episodes, which span the run of the show, include "The Pack," "Halloween," "Passion," "The Wish," "Helpless," "Fear Itself," "Hush," and "Same Place Same Time."
