Angel Cer�n honors Tlaloc, god of earthly waters and fertility, with a pair of handcrafted ceramic statuettes. The people from the Teotihuac�n culture believed him to be responsible for drought as well as for floods. This belief spread throughout Mexico, reaching the Maya who referred to him as Chaac, and from there to Central American cultures. The statuettes bear a slightly yellow undertone due to the clay used.
