Treat Your Hands Well...Glove Them!
To keep your fingers and hands warm in the winter months, a pair of
gloves will come in handy (no pun intended). Choosing a pair of gloves is all about personal preference. Some are more for fashion than for warmth and there are some made more for warmth than fashion. Whatever the case, there are many styles, colors and materials to choose from.
For the deep cold and outdoor activities, look to
Under Armour and
The North Face for gloves for playing hockey, skiing, hiking, running, or any other activity outdoors in the cold months of the year.
Nike also makes athletic gloves for baseball and football as well as gloves that support your favorite college athletic team. They even have some very cute pairs for kids that come with matching hats.
For shooting,
Berreta makes a selection of gloves for that sport made of fine leather and made to fit well. Other well-made leather gloves are from
Tignanello who uses Italian fine leather for all their gloves. They have a nice selection of driving gloves that are stylish and feel great on.
Fratelli is another brand that uses Italian leather. Some are lined with Italian silk, lambskin, rabbit fur, or cashmere for that extra luxurious feel.
Grandoe has a selection of fashion to function gloves. Some are made of Gore-Tex®, sheepskin, deersuede, nylon, and other materials that are waterproof. Most are fleece lined for uber comfort and warmth. Grandoe also makes fashionable yet warm leather gloves that are lined.
For formal wear gloves, look to
Adi Design. They make wrist to elbow length gloves to add elegance to your gown. If you're a
Harley Davidson lover and rider, they make gloves that are great for riding or for outdoor activities. Every pair has their famous logo on them and some come in their colors of black and orange.
