Story Behind the Art:
K.Thidarat (Jeab) grew up in Lamphun, located in the northern province of Thailand where there is a large cultural influence from surrounding hill tribes who are well known for their hand-made crafts and jewelry. She brought her knowledge and patience of making jewelry to Bangkok and began displaying her skill in stores and markets. She has taught her family members back home to make some of the designs. Her creative designs and successful business model have brought income to the family while preserving the hand crafted traditions of her home town.
