Countdown Clock

There are few things in life that are as eagerly anticipated as the birth of a child. Of course, we can't predict the exact time a baby will be born, but this little "countdown" digital clock can predict the precise number of days, hours, and minutes leading up to a baby's due date. This easy-to-program clock offers a large-print readout that lists the number of days in waiting. The hours, minutes, and seconds appear in finer print. (The clock also performs the mundane task of stating the current time.) Once the baby is born, the removable frame on the clock can be switched to announce other big countdown events, such as Baby's First Christmas, First Birthday, and First Day of Preschool. The clock comes with an order form for acquiring additional frames, with names like First Day of School, Summer Vacation, Chanukah, or Braces Off. Requires one AA battery. --Hannah Reynolds
