Davines Glorifying Color Protective Treatment

"Review Excerpt by Peter King from Wall Street Journal, 8/12/10: Barneys New York offers personal shoppers in eight of its 14 full-line department stores. When we called the store in Scottsdale, our assigned personal shopper, P.J., asked us a few basic questions about our suit and shirt sizes and color preferences. At the appointment, we were taken to a private fitting room where P.J. had ready eight suits from Paul Smith, Ralph Lauren and Isaia, ranging in price from $789 to $3,195. She had nine shirts and matching ties, and several pairs of dress jeans. After looking us over, she slid some suits to the back of the rack, saying the darker ones would look better on us. She may have also noticed our pained look when we eyeballed the $3,195 price tag on the Isaia. We liked a Ralph Lauren blue pin-dot suit, but the store didn't have our size. A nice touch: P.J. said she would be on vacation in California in a few days and offered to bring back the Lauren in our size from the Beverly Hills store." Date: 8/13/10
