The ACP-UC is connected to your existing cold water or mixer faucet with an easily attached diverter valve.The AquaCera ACP-UC Countertop Filter System is a free-standing, economical alternative to the Doulton HCPS.The ACP-UC is a countertop filter system utilizing the Doulton ceramic technology of the three stage filtration of the UltraCarb element.The AquaCera ACP-UC System efficiencies are based upon testing of components to NSF Standards 42 and 53 and other International water testing standards.The ACP-UC features a Doulton Ultracarb Candle Filter which is a three stage cartridge combining the highly efficient filtration properties of ceramic with the enhanced water treatment properties of activated carbon and the heavy metal reduction capabilities of ion exchange media.The AquaCera ACP-US UltraCarb Countertop Filtration System provides a high level of chlorine taste and odor and organics removal, along with Lead and other heavy metal reduction.The AquaCera Model ACP Countertop Filtration System package includes: Filter housing with 3/8" Inlet and Outlet, diverter valve, faucet, tubing, quick-connect fittings and 2" x 10" UltraCarb candle.The AquaCera ACP-UC filter needs no permanent modifications to the kitchen plumbing and allows filtered or unfiltered water to be drawn from the existing faucet at the press of a button.The ACP-UC's compact size and superior performance make it the perfect choice for apartments, boats, RV's, cottages and travel.Maximum output of the ACP-UC is designed to be 0.5 GPM, under typical water pressure of 60 psig, to maintain proper filtration efficiencies. Greater flow rate can cause damage to the filter inside and cause improper water filtration of contaminants.Approximate System Dimensions: 13" (H) × 4" (D).Micron Rating: 0.5 absolute 100%; 0.2 micron >98%.Operating temperature: 40-100° F.Maximum operating pressure: 120 psig.Recommended cleaning frequency: When flow rate is noticeably lower or every 3 months.Recommended change frequency: 6 Months or 600 Gallons (2,244 liters), whichever is sooner.
