With its interlocked leaves and petals, capucine (or nasturtium) closely guards its secrets. One must dream and fantasize to see its presence in a fragrance. "I like the simplicity of this flower, which grows in my garden," admits perfumer Louise Turner. "It seems to come straight from an antique botany book or herbarium." She therefore blended refreshing citrus with galbanum essence ~almost as concentration of chic in itself~ giving timeless inflexion. The aromatic touches reference a man's wardrobe while the flowers give an almost impressionist sensation, fueling luminous mists and dreamy afternoons.
