Radio may not play the role in American life it did in the days before television, but everyone still has at least one it seems and often more. From the portable radio to the clock radio to Wi-Fi Internet radio, it seems that radio claims a solid niche in our lives even though it's forced to share our time with an ever-growing array of electronic necessities.
Radio's role may have changed, but when it comes to relevance, there's no doubt we rely on radios with increasing regularity.
