CRT TVs from 10" to 20" are even less expensive, and sometimes come with a host of higher-end features.
Before buying a CRT television, look at its manufacturer. Major brands are Toshiba, Samsung, Coby, Haier, and Sansui Electric. As CRT technology has been around for quite a while, sets from major manufacturers tend to be somewhat similar, especially in dependability. However, they can vary in sound quality and in inputs. Make sure that a CRT TV has enough A/V inputs for any devices like DVD players that you want to hook up to it, and an RF input for cable (if you need it). Component cable adapters and RF adapters are available for televisions without these input types.
