Floodstop FS38C Automatic Water Shut-Off & Alarm for Dishwashers and Toilets Floodstop is a 3/8 Inch automatic water shut-off alarm for dishwashers and toilets. Prevent water damage from dishwashers and their water supply line (tube or hose), toilets or any appliance or fixture fed by a 3/8 inch supply line. This Floodstop FS38C device fits all water appliances that connect to a manual 3/8" angle-stop valve (present in all homes). When a few drops of water touch the FloodStop "sensor", the "Controller" sounds an audible alarm and triggers the motorized ball valve to close. Water lines and fittings can crack from age or impact. Proactively protect your property from such devastating events. Avoid flooding and costly property damage expenses. Detect and automatically stop leaks when they are small, before they grow larger and cause significant damage and even mold. Automatically shuts off water supply when problem occurs. Quickly and easily installed by homeowner in less than 15 minutesPrevents water damage to the affected area, as well as adjacent rooms and floors below. 24-hour protection, every day. Dishwasher leaks are often small, going unnoticed until the kitchen floor buckles or warps, causing costly water damage repairs and possibly mold remediation. Water first collects under the dishwasher, then seeps under the kitchen sub-flooring going unseen until floor buckles or warps. Under the sink RO (Reverse Osmosis) systems can also cause water damaging events . Choose a 1/4 inch or 3/8 Inch Floodstop depending upon the supply line size.
