Pros: Great collection of aircraft and the F-14 Tomcat and the A6M Mitsubishi scene. DTS sound.
Cons: Story plot and acting nearly non existent,could have been much better.
The Bottom Line: Fun Movie, just don't take seriously, the acting and the story wasn't taken seriously. Aircraft showcase galore. DTS sound to showcase aircraft.

Pros: Nice footage of a real carrier at sea; interesting premise
Cons: Time travel story issues, some bad acting
The Bottom Line: Though The Final Countdown has a somewhat interesting conceit, it somewhat collapses to its own logic.

Pros: Intriguing premise, great cast, great aircraft action
Cons: Weak special effects, melodramatic musical score, some script flaws.
The Bottom Line: I like this movie more than many others do, and the good premise, plus some of the acting, help me overlook its flaws.
