How to Buy Bundt Pans

While there are two main uses for bundt pans -- specialty cakes and gelatin molds -- these creatively shaped baking pans can also put some pizazz in your meatloaf, bread or scrambled eggs; anything that can be shaped, baked firm or molded can benefit from the Home Store added by a bundt pan.
These specialty bakers were first developed by NordicWare, which continues to create beautiful and original bundt pan designs, including pans for custard-topped cakes, mini bundt cakes -- a fun alternative to cupcakes -- and fairytale cottage birthday cakes. Despite the tiny curves and angles in these pans, you'll get consistently even baking every time.
Calphalon Classic Bakeware offers more traditional bundt pan shapes, but adds their patented nonstick, two-two coating to promote gentle browning without allowing your cakes to stick to the sides of the pan. Another interesting choice among nonstick pans is silicone, including the deep fluted pans from Lekue, which are oven-safe to 500°F, and bake evenly without burning the edges of the food. Silicone also cools more quickly because silicone doesn't hold heat as long as glass or metal, and it releases your baked goods immediately with a quick wiggle or gentle twist.
