They are stain resistant and can work well with gas, electric or ceramic stovetops. Their sizes range from 8 to 24 inches all with long stay-cool handles. All-Clad also makes stainless steel stir-fry pans in variable sizes and long handles for easy and safe handling.
NordicWare has a variety of different types of woks and stir-fry pans. Their sizes vary on your need, some are made from pre-seasoned carbon steel, stainless steel or aluminum.
For a more traditional style wok, Town makes 12 to 30 inch steel woks in both the Cantonese and Mandarin styles. Neither style has a long handle like most Western versions but instead have two smaller rounded handles on opposite sides. All are made in China.
Concept Housewares is another reasonably priced brand that uses carbon steel and is known for its wood and red silicon handles. For a mirrored steel version, look no further than, Concept Housewares, a leader in steel cooking utensils. They are a little more expensive but well worth the price tag.
Other excellent brands that have a variety of sizes and are of good quality are Typhoon and Farberware. Depending on the style and size you want for your kitchen, along with the price range you are willing to spend, all woks and stir-fry pans will provide you with a quick and delicious meal every time.
