For anyone who likes to drink coffee, either on a daily basis or even once in a while, a good coffee maker is a great small appliance for your home or work place. Some coffee makers simply make drip-coffee. Others are like miniature baristas that can make coffee and many other delicious drinks. Choosing a coffee maker that is right for you is simple. Ask yourself, how do I like to drink coffee?
Brands like Black & Decker, Mr. Coffee and Braun make coffee makers that brew several cups of drip-coffee into a pot and keep it warm for sometime. Many of their coffee makers have timers so that they can be set to turn on for a fresh cup in the morning and turn off at some point later in the day. Black & Decker make a nice spacemaker that is elevated above a countertop and connected to the flat space under your cupboards. Mr. Coffee specializes in coffee makers. They have some very interesting models including an espresso and coffee maker that makes single cups.
Applica has a wide selection of coffee makers, programmable and spacemakers. They also have some very nice percolators for some very fast brewed coffee. Cuisinart makes some very durable coffee makers, almost all are programmable and they have a few espresso machines and single cup coffee makers for that fresh brew every time. Krups is a very comparable brand to Cuisinart with some very similar styles and quality.
We really like what Keurig has created with their single cup coffee maker. It can make up to three cup sizes and can hold 48 ounces of water. You can choose from a variety of flavored coffee or tea for that perfect cup.
Bunn made its start with commerical size coffee makers and as its popularity increased and became known for their very fast coffee, they started to make home brewing machines that are just as fast making delicious coffee every time.
Spending a little more on a coffee maker will prove to be a solid decision. They will last longer, be more durable and save you money in the long run.
