Hubbard Scientific 3140 Little Shop of Physics-Motion

Motion: Take a cup of water through a maze at high speed and use music to measure the motion of an accelerating truck. The goal is to teach the basic concepts of force and motion in an engaging and informative way. Designed with thirteen small group activities to further benefit students understanding of motion. Velocity Vehicles - Students work with a stopwatch and toy vehicle to measure velocities; Acceleration of Gravity - Metal nuts tied to a string show students that falling bodies accelerate; Hoverpuck - Once it starts moving it keeps moving showing Newton s First Law.
