A lot of things have happened in the 20 years since the Soundgear series of basses were first introduced by Ibanez. Over the years, many things have changed, but the Soundgear has remained true to its roots as a versatile, alluring bass. The limited-run SR655PB has a 5-piece SR5 wenge/bubinga neck topped with a rosewood fingerboard that features classy abalone oval inlays. Its mahogany body has a poplar burl top and glossy finish for an incredibly attractive piece of natural artwork. Providing its impeccable low-end sound are two MK1-5 pickups, a MK1 3-band EQ, and an Accu-cast B20 bridge for easier string changes.
