This poster is based on the album cover for Unknown Pleasures. It shows white lines against a black background. At the top it says "Joy Division" and at the bottom it says "Unknown Pleasures". This framed poster measures approx. 24" x 36" Joy Division were an English rock band formed in 1976 in Salford, Greater Manchester. Originally named Warsaw, the band primarily consisted of Ian Curtis (vocals and occasional guitar), Bernard Sumner (guitar and keyboards), Peter Hook (bass guitar and backing vocals) and Stephen Morris (drums and percussion). Their albums were Unknown Pleasures and Closer. Popular songs include Transmission, Licht und Blindheit, Komakino, Love Will Tear Us Apart. In May 1980, on the eve of the band's first American tour, Curtis, overwhelmed with depression, committed suicide. After the death of Curtis, the remaining members reformed as New Order.
