| Murtaugh is still the family man. Riggs is still the daredevil, but now he counts the odds before bucking them. This time, they must protect an accountant who has laundered a half billion dollars in narcotics money. He leads them to a murderous syndicate with ties to a foreign power. Along the way, there's a six-story plummet from a window, a booby-trapped toilet, an underwater escape, and more. Academy Award Nominations: Best Sound Effects Editing. |

| Lethal Weapon 2 - Weakest in the Series, But Still Fun to Watch
by AliventiAsylum, 12/9/2007 |
|
|
Pros: good chemistry between the core actors, more comedy, good action sequences
Cons: weak villains, some plot points, lack of decent extras on DVD
The Bottom Line: Good action and good core characters go a long way to making up for the shortcomings, but it's the weakest of the four Lethal Weapon films.
Review: Of all the films in the Lethal Weapon franchise, the second one is the story that seems the most out

by George_Chabot, 9/5/2004 |
|
|
Pros: Mel Gibson, Danny Glover, Joe Pesci, stunts
Cons: Formulaic, too much profanity for the kiddies
The Bottom Line: Lethal Weapon 2 carries on the proud tradition established in the first movie in the series.
