Artist/Group
| Overview |
| This Philadelphia-based neo-glam band was a major contributor to the musical and sartorial aesthetics that came to be known as '80s hair metal. They were discovered at a club gig in the early 1980s by Jon Bon Jovi and signed, at his suggestion, to Polygram Records. Their '86 debut was an immediate smash, yielding the hit single "Nobody's Fool" and a seemingly permanent presence on MTV. Successive follow-ups were just as popular, and the band, despite a few line-up changes, were bona fide rock stars until their demise in the early '90s. Several reunion tours and two live albums have kept the band going in the aughts, but their recorded output has been minimal. |

Review: I've been thinking back to those pop metal years a lot lately. Why? Well, we've got Rocklahoma comin

| It May Be A Long Cold Winter, But It's No Wasteland

Pros: Solid, commercialized metal. Same satisfying vocalizations. Worthy music for metal fans.
Cons: Less powerful thematics than Night Songs, their first album.
The Bottom Line: A must have for Cinderella fans. It captures the band in transition, creating a mature voice. But that also means leaving the raw edge of their earliest tunes behind.
Review: I wrote earlier that Cinderella's debut album Night Songs appeals to us because its themes are core
