The coin, which art historian Cornelius Vermeule considered among the most beautiful US coins ever made, is framed in a silvertone bezel inset with paved marcasite hanging from a 24" silvertone chain. It has a pin on reverse so it can be worn as a brooch. The coin will be dated between 1916 and 1947.
