pH Decrease Safely lowers pH levels When used as directed: Safely lowers pH levels Is not harmful to aquatic life and plants May cause some brief cloudiness depending on water quality Combines: Two pH adjusters for buffered effectiveness Three electrolytes to help maintain osmotic balance One slime coat ingredient for skin protection and stress reduction Note: With all pH adjusting products, the alkalinity level (water hardness) should be adjusted to a normal range (100-200 ppm) before any effective and stable pH adjustment can be made. Make recommended application in several steps to avoid over-adjustment and pH bounce. Directions: Add 1/4 tsp. (1.25 mL.) of MICROBE-LIFT/pH Decrease per 10 gal. (38 L.) of water for each 0.1 unit of pH decrease desired. Based on starting pH, make adjustments in steps, taking readings between steps, until target pH is reached. If fish are present, make no more than a 0.5 unit pH change in a 24 hour period. Depending on water quality, some brief cloudiness may occur during pH adjustments.
