All five buttons, including the wheel button, can be easily reprogrammed

Users can move through documents quickly without having to click on the
scroll bar. Accelerated scrolling reacts to how quickly users roll the
wheel, allowing for faster movement through Web pages and computer
applications. This allows you to cover more area in less time,
