Use the end of your flat shadow brush to scoop a little from the pot, and rub it onto the back of your hand to liquify it. Then apply with brush to your lid with a light hand until lid is covered. Let dry for a minute, then apply your shadows. Stays all day long, looks great and helps shadow stay true to color on the lid.
