NV Delmas - Blanquette de Limoux

Light gold in color with very tight bubbles and elegant bead trails, this certified organic sparkler looks like fine Champagne. Scents of buttered toast, green apple, mild citrus and subtle hints of steel and flowers rise from the glass. This is a very dry wine, with nice tart acidity, light body and a crisp clean finish. In the mouth, there are flavors of mild grapefruit and lemon that are joined by elements of toast, minerals and stone on the finish. Very high-class stuff for an excellent price and organic too! The Blanquette de Limoux will make an excellent toasting aperitif for weddings, or will pair nicely with shellfish or a light salad. Kudos to the Organic Wine Company for finding such quality in an organic sparkler!
