Right at hand — built into the iJoy® ZipConnect armrest — is Sharper Image Design's universal ZipConnect™ module (with convenient retractable 18-inch cable) for playing any iPod, MP3 or other audio source — anything with a headphone jack! For your dockable iPod, we offer interchangeable "Made for iPod" ZipConnect modules that will both play and charge as you get a back massage!
The dual speakers in the headrest feature state-of-the-art aluminum-cone driver technology; together with the subwoofer built into the chair's base, they produce a wonderfully rich, full-dimensional stereo sound.
Human Touch™ Technology.
The incredibly realistic Human Touch™ Technology (HTT®) Robotic Massage® feels amazingly like the hands of a skilled — and tireless — masseuse. The patented robotics replicate the actual back-massage techniques used by massage therapists and chiropractic professionals — smooth Rolling, deep Kneading, tapping Percussion and the therapeutic Compression that was shown to be an effective treatment in chiropractic clinics; it is the only such massage tested and preferred by the American College of Chiropractic Orthopedists.
Massage programs.
When nestled in iJoy's® luxurious "mitt," you're presented with a futuristic control panel built flush into the left armrest. Press a button and (in Auto mode) you'll experience a blend of all four massage therapies in one continuous 15-minute program that travels all up and down your spine (in Full) or can be focused on the Upper or Lower Back. In manual mode, apply the exact kind of massage desired wherever it feels best.
