The Equinox housing is not included in this kit. The following combo contains: two SLX 800i video lights, two 12 flex arms, and two Equinox housing adapters. This kit comes with everything you need to fit one SLX 800i video light on all Equinox video housings. It also includes all accessories that comes with the standard SLX 800i video light. This Nocturnal Lights SLX 800i Focus Light includes 1 SLX 800i light head. Each light has three 3W (9W total) LED bulbs that provide 800 lumens of light. Six alkaline AA batteries power the light for 8-hours of burn time, with a maximum output for a full 2 hours. The LED bulbs run at a cool temperature, so the light can be used above and below the surface. The 6 AA battery configuration provides low weight and a compact size. The light comes standard with a removable lantern handle. The lantern handle has a 5/16 (8mm) hole that can be used to attach the included ball joint adapter. The auto-focus system on digital cameras requires a certain amount of light and contrast in order to focus properly. Underwater, this could sometimes be a problem, especially when shooting under ledges or on night dives. The SLX 800i, when positioned above your lens port, provides enough light and contrast allowing your camera to focus better and faster without any hot spots. The light also allows you to shoot clear and vibrant movies with still cameras that have movie mode. The included ball joint adapter allows you to mount the light on any 1 ball joint arm system with a ball joint clamp. The 60 degree internal diffusers are installed on the light, internal 12 degree reflectors,and the 90 degree adapters are included. The aluminum housing along with the double o-ring seal and shockproof LEDs makes the SLX 800i extremely durable even under the most extreme conditions. You never have to worry about the light turning on or off accidentally on your dive bag because of the switch lock.
