Plastic sheeting stiffens the bottom and back side of basket, and an internal aluminum hinge rod holds the basket open. When not in use, basket folds up from the bottom like a paper grocery bag, and snaps keep it shut. Includes easy-carry handles and an internal strap that holds items inside pannier basket. Simple mounting system works on most rear racks; Rixen and Kaul® Twist-clip system simplifies attachment and removal. Mounting system is built to accommodate a variety of rack diameters from 8 - 12mm. Novara 'Round Town pannier basket has a clip loop for LED blinker light, sold separately.
