Pros: Outstanding cast doing great work. Great writing.
Cons: It certainly shows little of the good side of humanity.
The Bottom Line: Strictly for adults...it's worth watching and seeing for yourself if you are fascinated by or repelled by these characters. Probably a bit of both.

Pros: first season, all at your finger tips
Cons: no other seasons released yet
The Bottom Line: Go out and buy it - it's a great set of discs, and maybe HBO will figure out they should produce more!

Pros: Compelling, addictive show, showcases the fabulous first season marvelously, cool extra features on DVD
Cons: Too gritty for many people
The Bottom Line: This is a great show, and this collection is a must have for any fan.
Review: As other reviewers have said, HBO's first ever dramatic series "Oz" is definitely an acquired taste.
