PFEIL "Swiss Made" Small Curved Head Adze

Our newest tools from PFEIL are perfect for those large carving or timber framing projects and feature the same attention to detail and high quality as our world famous "Swiss Made" carving tools. Premium tool steel is hardened to 56-58 Rc to create a durable, resilient cutting edge, which stays sharp longer. All tools feature "through eye" forging and come handled, ready for use. Solid ash handles are unfinished. Carving Hatchet has a 5" cutting edge with an overall tool length of 18". Straight Head blade is 3" wide and overall tool length is 18". Curved Head blade is about 2-1/2" across, with a curve that approximates a #9 sweep carving tool profile. Overall tool length is 18". Small Curved Head adze’s blade is about 2" across, also with a curve that approximates a #9 sweep. Overall tool length is 11". The tool’s smaller size makes it a perfect bowl adze.
