1.a. UNSCREW BASE PORTION OF TRAP
b. Into this base, Pour...
1) A cup of any fruit juice (Apple Cider, Pineapple, Tomato, plus 1 teaspoon of Sugar).
2) To the juice, add 1 or 2 small pieces of raw meat, fish or cat food.
3) Tightly screw base and cover together.
4) Always maintain at least a cup of juice in bottom of trap for effective drowning of trapped insects.

INTERESTING INFORMATION: The natural bait you have prepared is one of the best attractants possible. Sterile female Yellow Jacket workers eat only sweet juice and look for protein to carry back to the nest.

2. PLACEMENT OF TRAP: In early spring, at first sight of Yellow Jackets or Wasps, place trap out to catch the fertile Queen, thus preventing formation of an entire next. Use at campgrounds, in backyards, for picnics & barbecues, or decks.

3. CLEANING & EMPTYING TRAP:
a. When there is no fruit juice remaining, it is time to clean trap.
b. Immerse & fill trap with hot water to make sure that all insects are drowned and none are moving.
c. Unscrew bottom. Contents may be emptied into toilet, emptied into garden as fertilizer, or into plastic bag and then into garbage.
d. Rinse trap with hot water, drain, reassemble, re-bait and use again & again.
