PNI's 18 Ga. Portamatic Evolution is engineered to give you tight floors and exact nail placement for 3/8 in. to 3/4 in. flooring. The 418A is the Industry Solution for installing Solid, Engineered and Horizontal or Vertical Grain Bamboo flooring requiring the use of an 18 ga nail to reduce the risk of splitting the tongue of the wood or dimpling the top prefinished surface. (Available in lengths of 1-1/4 in. # 41801, 1-1/2 in. # 41802 and1-3/4 in. # 41803, Standard 16 ga L Flooring nails will not work in this tool.)
