Scanpan Professional Saucepan with Lid Use this saucepan with stainless steel lid to reduce all your favorite sauces to just the right consistency. Available in your choice of size, this pan is made of cast aluminum, has a heavy duty base manufactured from squeeze cast aluminum, and has a ceramic titanium coating, which is PFOA ( perflurooctanoic acid ) free. The Scanpan Professional Saucepan with Lid allows you to cook without fat and is safe for use with any utensil, including metal. The saucepan features a cast stainless steel lid and a handle that stays cool longer. The special two-tone finish on the lid and handle gives the pan a stylish, professional appearance. The ceramic titanium used in Scanpan's products, which are manufactured in Denmark, is heated to high temperatures, when the molten titanium fuses to the product's compressed aluminum core, and the nonstick coating is then applied and hardened. As the material is an excellent conductor of heat, it distributes the heat across the bottom and sides of the product, achieving an even distribution of heat. This pan is suitable for all stove tops with the exception of induction and is oven safe to 500° F. It is also dishwasher safe, although hand washing is recommended. Lifetime warranty.
