Story Behind the Art:
Asante is a pillar in his community, employing scores of carvers in his large craft shop. This has given much needed employment in the area. He also involves several villages in his trade which boosts the local economy. He is a community activist who believes in education and works to improve the quality of life in his neighborhood.
